The Needle Decompression Indicator Kit (N.I.K.) is a compact, field-ready system that provides rescuers with immediate visual confirmation of successful chest decompression when seconds matter. Each kit pairs a 10-gauge, 3.25-inch decompression needle with the Capnospot® colorimetric indicator, which delivers a rapid and unmistakable visual cue that confirms pleural entry.

When the needle is correctly inserted, the Capnospot® changes color in response to CO₂, removing uncertainty and improving provider confidence during one of the most critical emergency procedures. The integrated one-way valve allows safe venting following decompression, while the sterile, hard-case packaging keeps the needle protected and ready for rapid deployment.

Compact, intuitive, and reliable, the N.I.K. helps ensure speed, precision, and confirmation in the management of tension pneumothorax for tactical medics, paramedics, and emergency responders.
